  • CoolSculpting employs a process called cryolipolysis, which freezes and and permanently destroys fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissues. The dead fat cells are gradually eliminated by the body's natural metabolic processes over the following weeks and months, resulting in a more sculpted appearance.

  • Yes, CoolSculpting is considered a safe and effective treatment for fat reduction. It is a non-surgical procedure, meaning there are no needles, incisions, anesthesia, or downtime required. BodyLuxe employs two of the newest Coolsculpting devices available in Canada. These are highly sophisticated machines with built in temperature sensors. We keep our machines up-to-date and regularly maintained by Allergan Canada.

  • CoolSculpting is suitable for individuals who have noticeable bulges of fat that they'd like to reduce. It is not a weight loss solution for obese individuals but rather a targeted fat reduction treatment for those who are close to their ideal weight and want to address specific problem areas.

  • The length of a CoolSculpting treatment session varies depending on the area(s) being treated and the number of applicators used. On average, a single treatment cycle can last between 35 minutes to an hour. Multiple areas can be treated during a single session.

  • Temporary side effects can include numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort in the treated area. These effects are usually mild and subside on their own within a few days or weeks. Serious complications are rare, but it's essential to follow the post-treatment instructions.

  • Results from CoolSculpting are not immediate, as the body takes time to naturally eliminate the dead fat cells. You may start noticing changes as early as three weeks after treatment, with the most significant results typically visible after two to three months. Some individuals may require multiple sessions to achieve their desired outcome.
